Japanese robot media franchise Gundam inspired an early obsession with robots in Mark Mak. He went on to found Roborn Technology, whose robotic solutions incorporate advanced motion control, 5G connectivity and AI to allow for human-machine co-operation. The designs, which include China’s first 5G motion-control robot and the PEP3000, a body temperature-checking robot developed in response to Covid-19, can be applied to various industries, from property management to healthcare.
