LegCo Panel on Information Technology and Broadcasting visited Roborn office at Cyberport

LegCo members visited the office of Roborn to learn about the latest development of robotics products and solutions.

Accompanied by Mr. Alfred Sit, the Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Ms Annie Choi, the Permanent Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Dr David CHUNG, the Under Secretary for Innovation and Technology, and Dr George Lam, Chairman of Cyberport, the Legislative Council (“LegCo”) Panel on Information Technology and Broadcasting visited Cyberport on 4 May to understand the development of Cyberport and its future direction.

On that day, LegCo members visited the office of Roborn to learn about the latest development of robotics products and solutions. Roborn’s co-founders Professor Larry Poon (CEO) and Mr. Mark Mak (CTO) led the office tour themselves and introduced Roborn’s products and solutions to LegCo members, such as the latest robot called Future to facilitate STEM education. Afterwards, LegCo members took a photo with Roborn’s robots.
