Promoting High-Quality Development in the Greater Bay Area and Enhancing Cooperation in Technology Talent

In a bid to deepen cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, expedite the smooth flow of data elements within the Greater Bay Area, and foster close integration of technology and talent markets in the region, a delegation including Du Minqi, Director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Gao Liangfeng, Office Director, Qiu Jing, Director of the Publicity Department, Liu Qigang, Director of Talent Development, and Chen Shan, CEO of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base, visited Roborn’s office at Cyberport on May 6. They engaged in discussions with Mark Mak, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Roborn, regarding the future deepening of integration within the Greater Bay Area.

Mark Mak warmly welcomed the delegation from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security to Roborn for guidance and expressed his hope that through in-depth exchanges, further collaboration in innovation and technology with Guangdong Province could be strengthened. This collaboration aims to advance the integration of technology, talent, and resources among Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, align closely with national development plans, and drive high-quality development in the region.

During the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to experience Roborn’s intelligent products and showed great interest in the company’s cutting-edge technology research and development. Mark Mak shared Roborn’s innovation and entrepreneurial journey with the delegation, highlighting how, with the support of national policies, Roborn established its first subsidiary in Shenzhen’s Qianhai area. Subsequently, the company brought an excellent team to establish a presence at the innovation and entrepreneurship park in Jiangmen. Through these efforts, the team effectively unleashed new innovation and entrepreneurial dynamics in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. The goal is to fully leverage the role of a bridge that connects internal and external resources and guides the way forward.
