Roborn Joins Eastern District Event | From 4G to 6G: Past, Present and Future

Roborn Technology was recently invited to participate in the community event “From 4G to 6G: Past, Present and Future”, co-organized by Legislative Councillor Edward Lo, the Eastern District Association of Societies, ROBORN, and Friends of Blue, with the support of several Eastern District Council members. The seminar, held at the Siu Sai Wan Community Hall, featured Dr. Mark Mak, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Roborn Technology, and recipient of the 2024 Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award, as the keynote speaker. The event drew a large audience of local residents and students, creating a lively atmosphere.

In his presentation, Dr. Mak provided an insightful overview of the evolution from 4G to 6G, and shared how Roborn developed robotic arms during the pandemic to assist medical staff in monitoring isolation wards, significantly reducing the risk of infection. He also introduced real-world applications of robots in hazardous environments, highlighting the profound impact of smart technologies on society.

During the Q&A session, residents actively raised questions, demonstrating the community’s strong interest and curiosity about future technologies. Roborn also showcased two of its self-developed intelligent robots, which attracted many visitors to stop for photos and interactions, further energizing the atmosphere.

Looking ahead, Roborn will continue to actively engage in community outreach, promoting the popularization and application of technology, and bringing innovation into the daily lives of citizens.
