Roborn Showcases Multiple Smart Robots to Drive Smart Property Management and Future City Development

[Hong Kong] Recently, Ta Kung Pao reported on the achievements of Roborn Technology Limited in the field of intelligent robotics. Dr. Mark Mak, Co-founder of the company, stated that Roborn has successfully developed at least six smart robots, which have been widely applied in various scenarios including cleaning, disinfection, patrolling, and logistics transportation—demonstrating strong R&D capabilities in smart city and property management applications.

One of the most notable products is the “Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Robot.” Equipped with multiple advanced sensors, the IEQ robot can monitor key environmental parameters in real time, including humidity, volatile organic compounds (VOC), temperature, noise levels, and PM10. Once an abnormality is detected, the system immediately sends alerts to the control panel, while following preset schedules to patrol multiple checkpoints. In addition, the IEQ robot features a 360-degree HD camera, enabling round-the-clock environmental monitoring and greatly enhancing intelligent property management.

Dr. Mak noted that the market’s acceptance of property management robots is currently concentrated on auxiliary functions such as patrolling, cleaning, and data analytics, while applications in frontline concierge services are still at an early stage. However, with the rapid advancement of AI technologies, the cost of robot development and operations continues to decline.
